Truth
Genesis 2:18 records God saying,
“It is not good. . .” What would make God who had seen nothing but
the good in His creation make such a statement? Woman was missing.
Creation was incomplete. In the book,
Captivating by John and Staci
Eldridge, Staci said that woman was the crown of creation. Woman was the
final holy brush stroke of the Lord who completes His work. As the
psalmist David declared, “. . .
marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well”
Psalm
139:14. Smush (you will find
that I like to make up my own words) all of this together and here is
what we can say about ourselves – Women are a marvelous work of the One
True Holy God, the crowning and completion of creation. Translation – We
are very special!
Ignite
Dear
women, whether young or old, you are special. Live today knowing that
God chose you to be His
intentional finishing touch, not an addition because things did not
work out like He thought. He planned you!
Inspire
Look
in the mirror and declare, “I am special. God planned me for a purpose.
Creation would be lacking without me.” If that is hard for you and the
words seem to stick in your throat, ask God to help you understand and
believe how special you are.
