MIGHTY TO SAVE

TRUTH

Who is this robed in splendor, striding forth in the greatness of His strength? “It is I, speaking in righteousness, mighty to save.” Isaiah 63:1

IGNITE

The Lord God is your Redeemer. No pit is too deep for His love to reach down and rescue you. You cannot sin too much nor doubt too much to hinder His great love for you. He is a God who rescues. He is mighty to save. You must quit trying to live life without Him. Cry out to Him and acknowledge He is all you need.

INSPIRE

The prison of emotions conveyed great pain

Her heart was dry, calloused, and bound in rusted chains

Whispers of deceit echoed through her soul

Plagued by abandonment and it had taken its toll

Brokenness of her “past” stealing and tainting her “today”

She scampered here and there but couldn’t break away

Pain was unbearable underneath her failures’ weight

Living in a cold world full of evil and hate

Cruelest words ushered in bitter nights

Worn from a battle she could no longer fight

Cries of her anguish reached Heaven’s throne

She pleaded with God- “please take me Home”

The LORD stooped down and pulled her heart near

“My Darling, I love you and I AM right here.”

The power in His voice caused her heart to awake

His light burst through her darkness and His hand she did take

He pulled her slowly up as her chains clanked the floor

She rose from the ashes, for her heart He would restore

The King had plans for her and no pain would He waste

No longer bound to her past, she was transformed by His grace

One day at a time nestled under His mighty wing

Clinging to His truth inviting Him to be her everything

In Him she would move, breath, and live in victory

The great rescue had unbound her to dance in liberty

He knew her whole story; He knew her great pain

Yet He chose to rescue her, for this was why He came

He knows your story; He knows your deep pain

And you too, sweet child, are the reason He came

He came for your heart and the story of your life

His sacrifice made complete so He could carry your strife

His love is beautifully written on the pages of everyday

Open your heart; let Him in – HE IS MIGHTY TO SAVE

PRAYER:

LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, I am in need of rescue. Please come deliver me from these chains and myself. I am bound to my past, and I desperately want to be free. You are all I need. In the blood of Jesus I pray – AMEN
