Finding God

Salvation is a process. Salvation starts with an initial decision to trust your heart and life to Jesus. Salvation’s process is lived out in a continual daily walk with Jesus following His ways and obeying His word. This salvation process will one day be complete when we stand face to face with Jesus on the other side of eternity.

There is no formula to salvation but a turning from a life without Jesus to a life following Jesus and that must have a beginning point. If you have never done that we want to help you walk through that and begin your journey with Jesus.

Here is a prayer to help you take the first step of trusting and committing your heart and life to Jesus.

Dear Jesus,

I realize I am a sinner and need a Savior. I need your forgiveness for the sins I have committed against You. I am making a choice to turn from the sin in my life to You. I am asking You to come into my life and be Lord of my life. I accept and receive the forgiveness of my sins. From this day forward I will live by faith according to Your will for my life. Thank you for paying my debt for me. AMEN

Here are some basic steps to continuing the journey with Jesus.

1. Begin a life of prayer. Prayer is talking to Jesus.

2. Begin reading the Bible and start in the New Testament. i

3. Find a Bible based church and get connected with other believers.
